To
ensure proper translation of your formatting during
the CareerFolio setup process:
- Use
a series of 3 bullets to mark major resume categories
(i.e., professional profile, education, experience,
etc.).
- Please
provide specific instructions (i.e., "bold all
company names and italicize all job titles" or
indicate random bolding or italics as described below.
- To
retain special characters in your file (i.e., en dashes,
text bullets, quotes, accent marks, etc.): When you
save the resume as a text file, make sure the box
for "allow character substitution" is NOT
checked.
HTML Typographic Enhancements
BOLDING: To mark a string of text as bold type, add <b> before the first word in the string
and add </b> at the end of the string.
ITALICS: To mark a string of text as italic type, add <i> before the first word in the string,
and </i> at the end of the string.
