Instructions:
Convert
MS Word File to Text

Save Resume as Text: Click
File, Save As. Choose Text Only. Select NO BREAKS and ALLOW CHARACTER SUBSTITUTION, then click Save and
close the file.

Re-open
File: Open the new file in your word processor.

Clean-up
File: 1) Remove extra spaces and gaps
caused by tabs and indented text, 2) restructure columnar
text into paragraphs, and 3) add a space between
paragraphs.
- Save
as Text: Save as Plain Text or Text Only with no breaks.
